Something is coming up II. ???? In June, we wrote about something is coming up. And it got ready, happened and ended. But as we wrote, every end means the beginning of something else. And so we are already preparing for our second summer project this year under the wings of Erasmus+. As in July, we will host fifty-six young people and their leaders from different corners of Europe. And once again we will not only get to know each other, but also learn together. This time mainly about where our borders are. We will step out of our comfort zone, through outdoor sports, or tourist activities, for which Liberec offers great opportunities. And so the participants of the project get to know Ještěď, from its top they can look down on the beauty of Liberec and its surroundings. They will also explore the other side of the valley, the small ponds in its western corner. They will climb the Dragon Stone, look at the quarry, recognize the Miller's Cross, stop at the Liberecká Vyšina and, if the weather permits, refresh themselves in the Forest Swimming Pool. And if Liberec is the home of science, we cannot deprive them of a visit to IQlandia. Getting to know Liberec does not only mean getting to know the city and its surroundings, but also what is quite typical for the people of Liberec, i.e. meeting together by the fire, with a guitar and goodies baked on the fire. And so on Monday, August 15, passers-by in the vicinity of the Lesní kupaliště can listen to folk and other songs together with our participants. You will gradually learn what awaits those who come here on our website.
