Here we are again, with new updates on my experience in the Czech Republic.
The Christmas holidays have begun, and Christmas is upon us. 2020 started unexpectedly and will also end unexpectedly. This year I will experience Christmas in the Czech Republic, away from home, family, and friends. I certainly will not be the only one. If on the one hand the sadness of not being able to hug loved ones is starting to be felt, on the other I am also happy to stay here, because I hope to have the opportunity to know and experience Czech traditions. We hope for a better 2021, in which you can resume normal activities, where you can meet new people, have a beer in peace at the bar and talk together and above all travel.
In recent weeks we have continued to wander around to discover magical places and panoramic points to take your breath away; we were in Liberec to celebrate St. Nicholas and start breathing the Christmas air. We visited Decin and the nature around it, observing the city from various vantage points. We visited the two castles, the big and the small one (which looks like a fairytale castle). We got lost among the nature and the rocks of Tisa rocks between a glass of hot wine and Italian and Lithuanian food to recover from the continuous ups and downs. And finally, we returned to Prague to breathe its magical air at Christmas. It is strange to see such an empty capital, without tourists. But we were the tourists, and we were able to enjoy it to the fullest.
And finally, we continued our activities at school in parallel, between quizzes to learn the words of food and games to discover the Christmas traditions around the world.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone!!!
